Well, I think I'm gonna start off with one of my favourite bands and yes that is Panic!. I get stick for it everyday from some of my good friends who prefer more heavy bands but what the hey! I love what i love.
Ready To Go - Panic! At The Disco (Vices & Virtues) 2011
Clearly my favourite song at the moment and my current alarm because it just gets me up and beating my procrastination problem.
Anyways Panic! At The Disco: Love or Hate? Obviously everyone is entitled to their own opinion and view and I personally adore the music this duo create. Originally a four member band for the 1st and 2nd album and a duo for the third, different people have their own favourite,
Not following the crowd I'm more of a fan of the 3rd album. It does itself justice. The songs are catchy, quick and fit perfectly in the Rock/Pop genre. It also pleased many fans by going back to the 1st album roots but ditching the long song names for short more appropriate ones. Each song different form the previous one, is what I like the most though. They don't sound the same, each has a distinct tune and melody. :)
And they deliver just as well live. I was front row at their concert at Birmingham's HMV Institute (UK) on May 3rd and I enjoyed every second of it. :D
Ready To Go (Live) - Panic! At The Disco (HMV Institute UK)
(I do not own this video!! But if you look close you can see me :P)
Kerrang! gave one of the gigs for K's but dissapointed me by labelling them as emo's. That starts another battle completely, especailly because I've never really understood the whole 'Labels' thing.
But yes Panic!, personally an amazing band with a promising future and I sit here fingeres crossed to await their announcement of their next UK tour that i can bag tickets to :D And get well soon Brendon who broke his ankle at a show earlier in the week (and continued and finished the show :P) Keep going Champ :)
Comment if you wish :)
